Warren Statement on March 2025 CPI
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs (BHUA) Committee, released the following statement:
“With less than 100 days in office, Donald Trump has the Fed predicting higher inflation, workers worried about keeping their jobs, and business investment on pause. With his on-again, off-again tariffs, President Trump is rattling the markets, which haven’t seen this much volatility since the pandemic. Businesses will pull back on hiring while American families are hit with higher prices. Republicans in Congress can join Democrats and end this chaos today.”
