Brown Statement on the Ongoing Situation in Israel

Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, released the following statement on the ongoing situation in Israel. 

“I want to be clear: Israel has the right to exist and the right to self-defense. I will keep working in a bipartisan way to ensure that Israel has the resources to defend itself and that the United States is doing everything we can to support our ally. I am speaking with my colleagues, the administration, the Israeli government, and the Jewish community in Ohio and across the country to assess the next steps, looking at every tool available to support Israel and defeat Hamas. We are united behind Israel and against these horrifying acts of terrorism.”

Brown released a statement on Sunday regarding the ongoing terrorist attacks against Israel.
