THE COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS will meet in EXECUTIVE SESSION to consider the following nominations: Mr. Mitchell A. Silk, of New York, to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury; The Honorable Brian D. Montgomery, of Texas, to be Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; Mr. David C. Woll, Jr., of Connecticut, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; Mr. John Bobbitt, of Texas, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development; and Mr. Peter J. Coniglio, of Virginia, to be Inspector General, Export-Import Bank.  Following the EXECUTIVE SESSION, the Committee will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing entitled “Oversight of the Securities and Exchange Commission.”  The witness will be The Honorable Jay Clayton, Chairman, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
