THE COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS will meet in OPEN SESSION, HYBRID FORMAT to conduct a hearing entitled, “Examining Outbound Investment.” The witnesses on Panel I will be: The Honorable Robert P. Casey, Jr., United States Senator (D-PA); and The Honorable John Cornyn, United States Senator (R-TX). The witnesses on Panel II will be: Professor Sarah Bauerle Danzman, Associate Professor of International Studies, Indiana University; The Honorable Richard Ashooh, former Assistant Secretary for Export Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce; The Honorable Thomas Feddo, former Assistant Secretary for Investment Security, U.S. Department of the Treasury; and Mr. Robert Strayer, Executive Vice President of Policy, Information Technology Industry Council.
Pursuant to guidance from the CDC and OAP, Senate office buildings are not open to the public other than official business visitors and credentialed press at this time.
